Ben Roethlisberger wants another shot at the Jacksonville Jaguars defense and it very well may come his way. That’s because if this defense drags this team to another win on Sunday, they head to Pittsburgh — guaranteed.

On his weekly radio show on 93.7 The Fan with Ron Cook and Andrew Fillipponi., Roethlisberger talked about wanting to go against the Jaguars one more time and what he meant by what looked like a postgame implosion after the loss earlier in the season.

Here’s some of the transcript thanks to Sean Gentille of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

At some point, the Steelers will play another actual football game against either Jacksonville, Kansas City or Tennessee.

Any preference, Ben?

“I’ll give you guys one guess who you think I wanna play.”

Probably the guys who forced you into the worst game of your NFL career, yeah?

“Maybe so. Obviously any game that we’re gonna play, this is the postseason. Anybody is gonna be a disciplined opponent, but I think just for me personally, I’d love to just prove that five interceptions wasn’t me in that game.”

Cook reminded everyone that the “Maybe I don’t have it anymore” line came after the Jaguars game, and Roethlisberger seems to be sticking to his story: It wasn’t meant literally.

“We got them fooled, didn’t we? Yeah.”

We got them fooled? Ben, Ben, Ben... you were having an existential crisis after that game. You sunk into the damn void, man. Men don’t fool around with “Maybe I don’t have it anymore”. That’s what disappointed men utter at the altar of despair or what our broken heroes of yesteryear whisper in the mirror when bested by the next great bannerman.

The bell tolls for thee, Benjamin Todd Roethlisberger.
