That’s... a good defense we have.

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced four players made the Associated Press All-Pro teams today — defensive end Calais Campbell and second-year cornerback Jalen Ramsey earned a spot on the All-Pro first team, while cornerback A.J. Bouye and linebacker Telvin Smith were named to the All-Pro second team.

Campbell was also named as a second team selection as an interior defensive lineman.

This marks the first time since 2011 that a Jaguars player has been named to The Associated Press All-Pro team (running back Maurice Jones-Drew was a first team selection in 2011). The last time a Jaguars defender was named to The Associated Press All-Pro team was cornerback Rashean Mathis (first team) in 2006.

Campbell, who set the Jaguars record with a career-high and AFC-leading 14.5 sacks this season, was signed as a free agent on March 10, 2017 and has been named to the Associated Press All-Pro team for the first time in his career as an EDGE defender. Campbell is the first defensive lineman in franchise history to be a first team All-Pro selection. Defensive end Tony Brackens (second team in 1999), defensive tackle Marcus Stroud (second team in 2003) and defensive tackle John Henderson (second team in 2006) also received All-Pro honors as Jaguars defensive linemen.

Ramsey, who was drafted by Jacksonville with the fifth overall selection in the 2016 NFL Draft, was named a first team All-Pro at cornerback for the first time since Rashean Mathis in 2006. Ramsey finished 10th in the NFL with 17 passes defensed and posted a career-high four interceptions this season.

Bouye, who was signed on March 10, 2017, posted career highs in interceptions (six) and passes defensed (18) en route to his All-Pro selection (second team). Bouye’s 18 passes defensed were the sixth-most in the NFL and the most on the Jaguars, while his team-leading six interceptions were the third-most in the NFL. Bouye joins Ramsey (2017) and Rashean Mathis (2006) as the only cornerbacks to be selected to the Pro Bowl in franchise history.

Smith, who was selected by the Jaguars in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft, led the team with 102 tackles and was the only linebacker to register multiple defensive touchdowns this season. Smith was named an AP All-Pro selection (second team) for the first time in his career and the first time by a Jaguars linebacker since Mike Peterson (second team) in 2005. He joins Peterson and Kevin Hardy (first team selection in 1999) as the only linebacker to be named an AP All-Pro in franchise history.
