Week 6 NFL odds: Best plays and bet your mortgage on the Los Angeles Rams

Last week was awful. After hitting on the Thursday Night Football game, I went 0-for-3 on Sunday and have gone into the red overall for the first time this season. We’re getting back on track this week, folks.

How does Week 6 look? Let’s check it out!

Note: I use Bovada’s odds just a few hours before the game for all the spreads.

New York Giants (+2) vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are suffering a Super Bowl hangover but they’re still a better football team than the Giants.

Bet on the Eagles to win by at least a field goal.

Denver Broncos (+7) vs. Los Angeles Rams

I’m betting against bad franchises this week, everyone. The Rams may be on the road, but they are a well-oiled machine and the Broncos are in desperate need of a full-on rebuild.

Bet on the Rams to absolutely blow out the Broncos.

Cleveland Browns (+1.5) vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The Browns are on the verge of a winning record after six games for the first time in... I honestly do not know. But they’re at home and facing a Chargers team that is a sneaky 3-2, having beaten some terrible teams and losing by double digits to the good ones they’ve played.

Bet on the Browns and take the 1.5 points at home.

Jacksonville Jaguars (-3) at Dallas Cowboys

This line is pretty spread out — with some places only giving as much of a point to the host Cowboys. But we use Bovada, so I’ve got to give up three points.

Bet on the Jaguars to cover the spread no matter if it’s one or three points. It’s bounce back week!

Overall: 9-10-1
