Week 7 NFL odds: Best plays and bet your mortgage on the Indianapolis Colts

New, comment
NFL: Indianapolis Colts at New York Jets Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

We are still just barely in the negative but we’re bouncing back this week — just like the Jacksonville Jaguars!

Right?

Right...?

How does Week 7 look? Let’s check it out!

Note: I use Bovada’s odds just a few hours before the game for all the spreads.

New England Patriots (-3) at Chicago Bears

Yes, the Bears have a good defense and they’re at home but they just beat the Kansas City Chiefs, they have Tom Brady, they’re coached by Bill Belichick, and they won the three games previous to the Chiefs matchup by at least 14 points.

Bet on the Patriots to win by more than a field goal.

Indianapolis Colts (-7) vs. Buffalo Bills

Derek Anderson is on the road on a short week of practice.

Bet on the Colts to absolutely blow out the Bills.

Kansas City Chiefs (-6) vs. Cincinnati Bengals

I think this is a get right game for the Chiefs who come back home after keeping Tom Brady & Co. on the ropes last week.

Bet on the Chiefs to win by a touchdown.

Jacksonville Jaguars (-4.5) vs. Houston Texans

Blake Bortles is a mess and until he’s good again he’s bad again. The defense is going to bounce back but who’s going to score on that offense?

Bet on the Texans to win outright.

Overall: 11-12-1
