2018 NFL Week 9 power rankings: Let the record show that the Jaguars are bad

The Jacksonville Jaguars are losers of their fourth straight game, this time dropping a game at “home” in London to the Philadelphia Eagles — Carson Wentz looked like an alien, the run game was non-existent, and Blake Bortles played okay but wasn’t able to do anything more than impersonate a potato on the potentially game-winning drive.

Any guess to what happened to the Jaguars in SB Nation’s power rankings after last week?

If you guessed another free fall, you nailed it.

AFC South

The Colts are also climbing the rankings, though much lower down the list. They went from 22nd to 17th following their third win a row. Those wins have come against the Jets, Bills, and Raiders. So let’s not get too excited just yet, but they do look much improved. Next up they have the Jaguars, Titans, and Dolphins, so there’s more opportunities ahead for them to impress against similar and lesser competition.

The Jaguars fell from 20 in Week 8 all the way to 23 in Week 9.

Help is not on the way, folks.

Go Jaguars.
