Jaguars ‘made exploratory calls’ about available quarterbacks with Eagles, Browns

The Jacksonville Jaguars were reportedly sniffing around the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns for available quarterbacks during the NFL trade period that ended yesterday at 4pm EST, according to Dan Patrick of The Dan Patrick Show.

This isn’t much of a surprise as we reported yesterday that these rumors were flying around with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets also in the mix.

What it does, however, is provide more evidence that the Jaguars are indeed unhappy with their quarterback situation and more specifically Blake Bortles.

Help is not on the way this year, but the team looks to be headed towards an important offseason.
