The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins on injured reserve. He is eligible to return in eight weeks, meaning he can help the Jaguars make a late-season playoff push.

Head coach Doug Marrone noted on Monday that Seferian-Jenkins will require surgery. He had been on the injury report for a little while with an abdominal muscle issue.
Seferian-Jenkins saw just one target yesterday against the Kansas City Chiefs. He has 11 catches for 90 yards and a touchdown so far this season.
