Week 9 NFL odds: Best plays and bet your mortgage on the Kansas City Chiefs

NFL: Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

We’re climbing, everyone! After going 3-1 last week we’re hitting on over 56 percent of our picks over the year. Not superb, but profit is profit.

How does Week 9 look? Let’s check it out!

Note: I use Bovada’s odds just a few hours before the game for all the spreads.

Buffalo Bills (+10.0) vs. Chicago Bears

Listen, the Bills will lose on Sunday. They’ll likely lose by more than a touchdown. But the Bills defense is good and I can’t see Mitch Trubisky winning by two touchdowns on the road. I am going to hate myself on Monday.

Bet on the Bills and take the 10 points at kickoff.

Denver Broncos (EVEN) vs. Houston Texans

It’s really not fair that the Broncos have an automatic home field advantage from playing in the damn troposphere. But it works for them.

Bet on the Broncos to win outright.

Kansas City Chiefs (-9.0) at Cleveland Browns

That Browns defense has kept the team in some games, but the Chiefs are... well... the Chiefs. This is going to be a really fun one to watch.

Bet on the Chiefs to win by at least 10 points.

Los Angeles Rams (EVEN) at New Orleans Saints

Another pick ‘em game and I will not be picking against the Rams until they lose. That team is too good on both sides of the ball. Another fun one to watch.

Bet on the Rams to win on the road.

Overall: 18-13-1
