Ereck Flowers will start at left tackle vs. Colts

NFL: New York Giants at Cleveland Browns Scott R. Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be starting Ereck Flowers at left tackle against the Indianapolis Colts, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Flowers is the team’s fourth left tackle of the season through nine games — Cam Robinson was injured early in the season, Josh Wells was injured shortly thereafter, and Josh Walker is a converted guard who tried his hardest but in the end wasn’t good enough.

While Flowers was bad for the Giants it’s time to at least give him a shot since he is at least a natural offensive tackle. He’s going to need help with a running back chipping or a tight end on the side so watch for that today.
