The Jacksonville Jaguars are a bad football team. They have good pieces — hell, they have a good defense — but their team sucks. They have three wins in nine games. If you lose twice as many games as you win you suck.
I don’t write the rules.
But Jalen Ramsey was asked — of all gotdamn people — if he would “boo” the Jaguars if he was watching. Jalen provided as Jalen an answer as he could.
“Would I boo? No. We had a chance to win the game at the end. I’m not going to boo. That’s what I’m talking about. That’s fake. If that’s what people want to do or how people feel, there are certain people … You all are going to miss … We bring some good things and yeah, we have slipped up here recently. We have not executed or played like we know we can, but whoever the fake fans … Whoever. If you all want to jump ship, it is what it is. But you all are going to miss us when we are either gone or when stuff back pops and we don’t want you all anymore ... You all act like we aren’t frustrated. Come on now. I’m not saying we don’t care about the fans being frustrated, but we are frustrated in here. We are frustrated in here, though. That’s what you all fail to realize. You all think we are just walking around and we are happy about what’s been happening lately? We are not. We’re still trying to figure out a way that we can fix it.”
So, according to Jalen, if you boo you are at least one of the following:
- Not Jalen Ramsey
- “Fake”
- “Certain people”
- Not very observant, will “miss” the “good things”
- “Fake” (again)
- “Whoever”
- You “jump ship”
- You’ll “miss” whomever “us” is
- Rejected by Jalen because he “don’t want you all anymore”
- Acting like players aren’t frustrated
- Failing to realize said players are frustrated
- You think players are walking around happy about what’s been happening lately
There you go. If you boo the Jaguars because they are bad, you are at least one of the 12 things above. Unless you want to be one (or more!) of those 12 things you better think twice before you boo.
