Tom Coughlin will ‘put the gloves on with anybody’ who questions his way of building the Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars have benched their starting quarterback, fired their offensive coordinator, and secured their 10th non-winning record in the last 11 seasons.

But that isn’t stopping their front office from believing as Executive VP of football operations Tom Coughlin went on 1010XL radio this morning and defended his last two seasons of rule — saying he’ll “put the gloves on with anybody” who questions his way of building the team.

As Phillip Heilman pointed out, Coughlin doesn’t speak to local media during seasons and is rarely quoted throughout the year, so even if you wanted to you’d have no real opportunity of arguing with him.
