The Jacksonville Jaguars have promoted undrafted rookie cornerback C.J. Reavis to the 53-man active roster from the practice squad — on his birthday!

A roster spot was created when the team placed offensive lineman Andrew Norwell on injured reserve.

Offensive tackle Michael Dunn was also signed to the team’s 10-man practice squad once a spot was vacated due to Reavis’ promotion.

Reavis played two seasons at Marshall after beginning his collegiate career with one season at Virginia Tech. As a senior in 2017, he appeared in 11 games and totaled 63 tackles and one interception. Reavis has spent the first 12 weeks of the 2018 season on the team’s practice squad.

Reavis will wear No. 38 for the Jaguars.
