Jaguars almost touchdown underdogs at home

After a what was a whirlwind early in the week, the Jacksonville Jaguars hit the practice field on Wednesday for the first time with Cody Kessler as the starting quarterback in preparation to take on the Indianapolis Colts at TIAA Bank Field on Sunday. The change at quarterback didn’t seem to do much for the bookies when looking at this game, as the Jaguars opened up as a 3.5 point underdog.

Before the switch at the quarterback position it had already moved to around the Jaguars +5.5 in some places.

Not all that surprising to be honest, as the Jaguars appear to be in the middle of a tailspin after losing seven straight games. The change at offensive coordinator and quarterback are probably seen as last chance panic moves, but in reality they were probably long over due. I wouldn’t be all that shocked to see the line for this one move more in favor of the Colts, especially since Leonard Fournette’s suspension was upheld.
