The Jacksonville Jaguars made a lot of headlines this week between firing offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett and benching quarterback Blake Bortles, but more importantly the team could be without their best defensive player on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Cornerback Jalen Ramsey missed practice on Wednesday and it sounds like there is real concern he will miss Sunday’s game.
Marrone on his concern over CB Jalen Ramsey’s availability Sunday: “I do have a high level of concern. ... He’s got a legitimate thing that he’s dealing with.” #Jaguars

If Ramsey cannot go on Sunday it would be the first game of his NFL career that he’s missed and would leave a pretty big hole in the Jaguars secondary. Love him or hate him, he’s easily the Jaguars best player on the defense and the one with the most penchant for big splash plays and losing him against a red hot Colts team would be a big miss.
Leonard Fournette will also miss the game due to his suspension.
Luckily, the Jaguars seem to have solid depth at the cornerback position, albeit it’s a bunch of young guys. We will know more as the week goes forward, but we could be without Ramsey on Sunday.
