Pro Football Focus is charting everything when it comes to the 2018 NFL regular season and that includes the Week 14 matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans.
So who was the cream of the crop and who did poorly on Thursday? Let’s check it out!
- WR Dede Westbrook was the Jaguars highest graded player on offense. His 77.8 overall grade was his second highest of the season. He dominated when working in the slot where he lined up 89.1% of the time, he caught six passes for 80 yards and a touchdown when lined up there.
- The offensive line struggled to keep QB Cody Kessler free from pressure, they allowed 14 total pressures on Thursday night as Kessler found himself under pressure on 38.8% of his dropbacks. He didn’t handle the pressure well as he only completed four out of 14 pass attempts for a passer rating of 63.4.
- The Jaguars defense combined to miss a total of 12 tackles against the Titans. LBs Myles Jack and Telvin Smith both missed three total tackles which is a season high for both. The 12 missed tackles is tied for the most in a single game this season for the Jaguars, which also came against the Titans in Week 3.
- A.J. Bouye struggled in coverage on Thursday night, he allowed all four of the passes thrown his way to be caught and his coverage grade of 47.5 was his second lowest of the season. Bouye allowed a passer rating of 113.5 which is the highest he has allowed since the conference championship last season.
