Blake Bortles said before the game he doesn’t think he’ll be back with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019.
So, watching this game, you were kind of wondering — how would he go out?
Would he have a so-so game... something like 10-for-18 for 140 yards with a touchdown and an interception?
Would he blow the roof off in a shootout reminiscent of 2015... complete 65 percent of his passes for 275 yards and four touchdowns and a pair of picks?
No. He didn’t do either of those things. His (seemingly) final stat line was a pedestrian 15-for-28 for 107 yards, 3.7 yards per attempt, and an interception on his very last pass in a Jaguars uniform.
Blake Bortles’ final play with the #Jaguars could be an interception and I don’t think Keats could write a more poetic ending. pic.twitter.com/WZQW3exYNb
