The Jacksonville Jaguars opened up as only 3.5 point underdogs heading into Thursday’s game against the Tennessee Titans in the Jaguars one and only prime time game, Thursday Night Football. The line in some spots has moved to Jaguars +4, which is surprising it’s remained that low.
I know the two teams usually play each other close, but the Jaguars have lost three in a row to the Titans, neither game really feeling like the Jaguars could win them and they just came off an anemic (to be nice) offensive showing against the Indianapolis Colts. The Titans defense is much better than the Colts, but then again the Jaguars were with essentially one or two opening season starters this previous week on offense.
Leonard Fournette will be back off his one-game suspension, so I would anticipate a game similar to their earlier season matchup where it’s just a grind fest, which is exactly what the NFL wants on prime time football.
