Walk The Mock Draft 2.0

Here is another mock draft that I just did from Walk the Mock.

Lwt me know what y’all think.

Round 1:29:

Dallas Goedert, TE: SputhDalota St.

Goedert is a big pass catching TE. Who can block. He fills a position of need and is BAP. He has been compared to a Travis Kelce and Zack Ertz. Both at the top of the TE ranks right behind Gronk.

Round 2:29:

Mark Andrews, TE: Oklahoma

Back to back TEs could be surprising, and I was torn with this pick. I was hoping Rudolph would fall. He didn’t. Then I saw both Nick Chubb and Sony Michel still available, but thought Round 2 was a little high for a luxury pick for this team. Plus, this scenario has us not being able to sign Trey Burton, and letting Lewis and Rivera go. We bring in James White from the pats, and let Ivory go for cap space. Goedert and Andrews can form a young TE random that can be dangerous for opponents, as Andrews has been compared to Greg Olsen.

Round 3:29: Kyle Lauletta, QB: Richmond

Best QB available. Has gotten comparisons to Garoppolo in terms of release. Could be our next starter. He’ll at least replace Henne.

Round 4:29: Ross Pierschbacher, G: Alabama

one of Cam Robinson’s former team mates. He could add depth to the line and fight for a starting spot with AJ Cann. Also, when I saw his name, I was reminded of Eddie Rickenbacker, a US WW1 fighter pilot Ace, who took on multiple faukers. And won by himself. Best value at this pick.

Round 6:29: Allen Lazard: WR: Iowa State

We have done well with WRs named Allen.

Round 7 Pick 1: Jarvion Franklin, RB: Western Michigan.

RB depth.

Round 7: Pick 2:

Lester Cotton: G, Alabama

Another Alabama Olinemen to compete for depth.
