Doug Marrone, Dave Caldwell to speak at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars-Leonard Fournette Press Conference Logan Bowles-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL Scouting Combine takes place this week at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, which will give us our first true glimpse into who is moving up and who is moving down on teams’ draft boards.

Coaches, general mangers and other front office executives will be paying close attention to measurements, workouts, tests and interviews, but will also be interacting with the media throughout the week.

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone — who was recently named AFC Coach of the Year at the NFL 101 Awards — will talk to the press at 10:15 a.m. EST on Wednesday at Podium 1, which will last approximately 15 minutes as Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay is scheduled for the 10:30 a.m. EST time slot.

General manager Dave Caldwell will also speak to the media on Wednesday. He is available at noon at Podium 3. There is nothing scheduled immediately following Caldwell at Podium 3, though Howie Roseman, executive vice president of football operations for the Philadelphia Eagles, also speaks at noon over on Podium 1.

In terms of Combine activities for players:

  • Group 1 (PK, ST, OL), Group 2 (OL) and Group 3 (RB) all arrived on Tuesday, with measurements and interviews on Wednesday and on-field workouts on Friday.
  • Group 4 (QB, WR), Group 5 (QB, WR) and Group 6 (TE) arrive on Wednesday with measurements and interviews on Thursday and on-field workouts on Saturday.
  • Group 7 (DL), Group 8 (DL) and Group 9 (LB) arrive on Thursday with measurements and interviews on Friday and on-field workouts on Sunday.
  • Group 10 (DB), Group 11 (DB) arrive on Friday with measurements and interviews on Saturday and on-field workouts on Sunday.
