Art Rooney II: Pittsburgh Steelers can’t fixate on Jacksonville Jaguars next season -
The Pittsburgh Steelers have some very nasty habits as a football team, but perhaps none is worse than their proclivity towards ignoring lesser opponents. They spent the entire 2017 season utterly fixated on the New England Patriots to the degree that even after losing 30-9 to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5, they still refused to take them seriously in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. That would be their undoing, as the Jaguars defeated them 45-42 in that round to earn the matchup with the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game that the Steelers had spent all season preparing for.

Could the Jacksonville Jaguars pursue Nick Foles this offseason? -
This time of year, never believe the “guaranteed” money numbers first reported. Those first numbers usually include only injury guarantees. That’s not normally a major concern because a player would have to be hurt at just the right time for such numbers to matter.

They matter this year for the Jacksonville Jaguars, who may have to pay Blake Bortles $19 million whether he’s on the team or not.
