The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly expected to sign free agent wide receiver Sammy Watkins, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

There was some reported interest in Watkins from the Jaguars but it looks like that was all conjecture as we’re still pretty early in the legal tampering period and contract numbers are already finalized.
Watkins, 24, was the No. 4 overall pick by the Buffalo Bills in the 2014 NFL Draft. He spent three seasons with the Bills before being traded to the Los Angeles Rams last August. Like Allen Robinson, his best season was in 2015, when he caught for 1,047 yards and nine touchdowns.
With Watkins and Robinson both off the market, the best receivers left for the Jaguars to sign are probably Cameron Meredith, Paul Richardson, Donte Moncrief, and Tavon Austin. Personally, I think the Jaguars pursue one of those guys.
What do you think? Will the Jaguars go after a receiver in free agency? Or will they let their group be headlined by Allen Hurns, Dede Westbrook, and Keelan Cole?
