Are the Jacksonville Jaguars the favorites for the AFC South in 2018? -
Even with recent cuts and the departure of two front-line players who signed elsewhere, the Jacksonville Jaguars are a slightly better football team right now than they were when they lost in the AFC Championship Game.

The New England Patriots, who beat the Jaguars 24-20 at Gillette Stadium to advance to the Super Bowl, and Pittsburgh Steelers are not.

Dawuane Smoot, the athlete -
You know Dawuane Smoot...

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ most recent third-round draft pick.

The once-heralded Illini prospect who, at one point, was the No. 5 overall prospect on Todd McShay’s 2016 draft board before deciding to stay in school one more year.

Yeah, that one.

But do you know this Dawuane Smoot? The budding vlogger with a YouTube channel of over 1,000 subscribers? Or the Twitch fantatic who loves challenging fans on Twitter to games of Madden, Fortnite, and PUBG?

New Jacksonville Jaguars tight end group could use some seasoning -
The Jaguars unceremoniously dumped veteran tight end Marcedes Lewis on Tuesday. The surprising move - to some - may be considered to be on par with an M. Night Shyamalan-style twist.

Jacksonville picked up the tight end’s $3.75 million contract option last month. He pocketed a $250,000 option bonus from the move.

The bonus has turned into dead money on the salary cap for Jacksonville but the Jaguars were still able to save the other $3.5 million in space.
