Blaine Gabbert back in the AFC South

NFL: Tennessee Titans at Arizona Cardinals Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Hello darkness my old friend...

The Tennessee Titans have signed quarterback Blaine Gabbert, as the team had been searching for a backup for Marcus Mariota since he seems to have a tendency to get hurt. If you recall, the Titans worked out Chad Henne a few weeks ago but he ended up signing with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Gabbert started five games last season for the Arizona Cardinals after the two quarterbacks ahead of him got injured, including a start against the Jacksonville Jaguars where he led the Cardinals to a win.

Gabbert also beat the Titans a few weeks later, putting their playoff hopes on life support.
