The Jacksonville Jaguars are going to need a lot of help at wide receiver if they let Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee go in free agency and that could mean a wide receiver in the first round — and Todd McShay’s third mock draft of the offseason sees the team going for Maryland wide receiver D.J. Moore at No. 29 overall.
29. Jacksonville Jaguars
D.J. Moore, WR, Maryland*
Jacksonville has a real possibility of losing Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson in free agency. If that happens, WR is a huge need. Moore’s tape is really good when he’s targeted, and his combine showing, including a 4.42 40, only helped his cause. A tough WR with good run-after-the-catch skills.
Behind Alabama’s Calvin Ridley, Moore is McShay’s second-best receiver in the draft. (The absence of SMU’s Courtland Sutton and Oklahoma State’s James Washington are a bit odd.)
What do you think? Would Moore be a good pick if both Sutton and Washington are on the board when the Jaguars pick like McShay predicts?
