The Jacksonville Jaguars have selected NC State offensive lineman Will Richardson in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Many fans and experts expected the Jaguars to draft an offensive lineman early on in the NFL, but it took until Day 3 for the Jaguars pick one.
Good thing is though, the Jaguars picked up was could potentially be a very good starting right tackle in the future. Richardson only played right tackle at NC State and is likely where he will stick at the next level, but it’s a position the Jaguars can start to solidify for the future.
One of the big knocks on Richardson has been some off the field issues, as he’s been cited for a DUI and marijuana, but as long as he can keep everything clean going forward he could end up being a steal in the fourth round. The Jaguars certainly have the kind of locker room to help keep him in check.
