Malik Jackson predicts undefeated season for Jacksonville Jaguars: ‘We’re going 16-0’

Last year, Malik Jackson said the Jacksonville Jaguars were going to win the Super Bowl. We laughed at him. And then we made it all the way to the AFC Championship only to squander a fourth quarter loss.

This year? Malik thinks we’re going to 16-0, according to an interview with TMZ Sports.

“I think we’re going 16-0. I’m callin’ it, 16-0. I don’t think anybody can beat us as long as we stay healthy and do what we’re supposed to do.”

Jackson says his confidence stems from last season ... when the Jags BARELY missed out on a Super Bowl appearance because of a loss to the Patriots.

There’s a reason only two teams in NFL history have ever gone undefeated. The parity is the highest of any professional sports league and the fact that there are only 16 games means even just one without a star player can derail an otherwise perfect game plan.

But while 16-0 sounds crazy, all 13 writers who cover the opponents the Jaguars will play in 2018 were polled and only three thought their teams would win — Todd Archer believes the Dallas Cowboys will win at home in Week 6, Jeremy Fowler thinks the Pittsburgh Steelers come away with a win in Week 11 on Sunday Night Football, and Cameron Wolfe thinks the Tennessee Titans win their Week 14 matchup on Thursday Night Football.
