Jhane Lowsoo is a fifth-year senior at LSU, meaning she isn’t covered by TOPS anymore — which means she has to pay out of pocket to finish her college education. She works two jobs, but she’s still coming up short which meant a number of different things, GoFundMe campaign included.
Lowsoo had raised a little over $1,000 of the $5,000 shortfall before Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette — who played for LSU until being drafted in 2016 — came in and said he was covering the rest.
Looka my dawg dm me yo number I’ll pay the rest for you ........ https://t.co/gy0u0iCs9A

All of it. Final year paid for. Done.
Here was Lowsoo’s message on her GoFundMe campaign:
I am raising money to fund my senior year of college. I will be a 5th year senior at LSU, meaning that I will no longer receive TOPS (due to TOPS being a 4 year college program) I have tried to apply for several loans but have gotten turned down for every single one. This means that I will have to pay for my tuition out of pocket. I am really in need and would appreciate any donation that is given. $1, $5.... anything helps! I’ve worked too hard & I’ve come to far to stop now!
Fournette is the absolute GOAT, everyone. Happy 4th of July.
