2018 Jacksonville Jaguars training camp: Day 4 live blog

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars-Training Camp Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars are through with their first week of training camp and a few things have consistently stood out the last few days — Blake Bortles looks good and in command of the offense, the offensive and defensive lines will once again be a major strength of this team, and first round pick Taven Bryan is confirmed good, folks.

You can read a Day 3 recap on our live blog here.

As Day 4 approaches, we’ll keep an eye on how Bortles continues to perform, how the rest of the offense develops, and how the defense (somehow) improves upon last year.

We’ll start learning the answers to these questions and more as the Jaguars take the field this morning. Follow along with everything Jaguars by checking out our live blog throughout the day.

12:56 PM: And with that, Day 4 winds to a close. Blake Bortles ends on a high note. Goodnight, everyone!

12:50 PM: I can’t believe I doubted this pick. Taven Bryan is going to be an absolute gift in keeping the veteran defensive linemen fresh for the playoffs.

12:34 PM: Rashad Greene doing everything he can to wrap up that sixth receiver position on the 53-man roster.

12:16 PM: Blake Bortles has his first “off” day of training camp.

11:13 AM: Yannick Ngakoue, my God. This has been a fun, physical camp so far.

11:11 AM: Taven Bryan vs. Cam Robinson — the first round pick is more than holding his own in his first training camp.

11:08 AM: Cam Robinson in run drills.

10:52 AM: I could watch Taven Bryan practice all day.

10:46 AM: The silver lining is Marqise Lee and Donte Moncrief were always going to make this roster so this gives guys like Keelan Cole, Shane Wynn, or Jaydon Mickens more reps. Same with Tyler Patmon taking advantage of Jalen Ramsey’s absence.

10:34 AM: Day 4 is beginning now!

9:22 AM: Jalen Ramsey could literally show up two hours to kickoff for Week 1 of the regular season and I’d be confident that Odell Beckham, Jr. isn’t getting more than two catches or 30 yards.

7:26 AM: Saturday night’s practice with pads under the lights was a lot of fun to follow along with. We’ve got our live blog here chock full of highlights, video, and analysis.
