Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles is a good dude who does more in the Jacksonville community than we know. One issue close to Bortles’ heart is first responders — his foundation serves first responders in the Jacksonville and Oviedo communities in addition to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
That’s why it’s no surprise when we came to found out that Bortles provided meals to emergency personnel and first responders working at the Jacksonville Landing after a deadly shooting at a Madden NFL video game tournament that reportedly left three dead over the weekend.

And these ain’t boxed lunches either. These are beautiful, delicious Cuban meals, served hot for everyone on the ground.
Thank you @BB5Foundation for the delicious @MambosCubanJax for the guys that worked so hard this weekend! Your generosity is greatly appreciated! pic.twitter.com/O6wtNOIMXM
