The Jacksonville Jaguars spent Sunday morning and the beginning of their afternoon in Day 9 of training camp.
So far, Blake Bortles has looked very, very good while few players — *cough Tanner Lee cough* — have looked very, very bad. It’s about as boring and successful a training camp as we could have hoped for as fans and I’m sure head coach Doug Marrone and the front office are ecstatic about that.

1:38 PM: Again, this Leon Jacobs story is crazy — but in a really good way. Good night, everyone!
"Leon's been awesome. He knows what's he doing." - #Jaguars MLB Myles Jack on SAM LB Leon Jacobs. "He's further along than I was [as a rookie]."

1:15 PM: And Jim Irsay thinks he has the best backup quarterback in the NFL. Smh...

1:10 PM: Jesus.
Brutally hot practice for Jaguars, who went 2.5 hours in full pads, had 60 plays of 1s vs 1s and ran gassers after

12:33 PM: Go Jaguars.
Weirdly awful sequence during 11 on 11: Tanner Lee targets D. Miller but the pass is broken up by C. Miller. The ball bounced in the air & Don Carey got his hands on the ball but got run into by rookie LB R. Hunter who knocked Carey down & the pick out of his hands.#Jaguars

11:17 AM: Tight ends have been a recurring theme in the passing offense when it comes to the red zone.

11:14 AM: Tre Herndon has had a few highlights this camp, but Tyler Patmon and Quenton Meeks have had a few more. I haven’t heard Jalen Myrick’s name much however.

10:38 AM: It’s interesting that the Leon Jacobs story isn’t getting more play. This is a guy who was a seventh round pick and he’s got the inside track in the middle of training camp to be the starting SAM linebacker.

10:27 AM: Calais Campbell didn’t practice during the Friday Family Fun night because of a calf injury, but here is at practice. Good sign.

10:26 AM: Seven straight practices with pads. It’s been getting near 100 degrees in Tallahassee in the middle of the day so I cannot imagine.
