The Jacksonville Jaguars have the biggest game of Week 2 in the NFL as they host an AFC Championship rematch against the New England Patriots. Their previous meeting was a lot closer than most experts thought it would be, but it seems the sharps are giving the Jaguars a lot more credit this go around.
Entering the week the Jaguars opened as a slight underdog at home, getting two points. As the week moved on you’ve seen the line shift a bit in the Jaguars favor with some places having the line down to +1.5, +1 and a few even have it at EVENS.
It’s no surprise that the Jaguars are the underdog even at home, but it was a bit eyebrow raising to see the line move that much that quickly during the week, even with the uncertainty around running back Leonard Fournette.
Then again, if you’re going to get the Patriots the best chance has generally been in the first few weeks over the season.
