The Jacksonville Jaguars are hosting the New York Jets in a Week 4 matchup at TIAA Bank Field with kickoff is at 1pm EST.
New York will be starting rookie quarterback Sam Darnold who has been good but will likely make some mistakes against a secondary led by All-Pro defensive backs Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye. I would also expect our defensive line — specifically Yannick Ngakoue who has yet to register a sack — to feast today.

4:10 PM: TOUCHDOWN! TJ Yeldon walks in to the end zone for the capper, Jaguars miss the two-point conversion but the Jaguars put the finishing touches on a dominating win, 31-12.
3:55 PM: The Jaguars get a good drive going, but Dede Westbrook fumbles while gaining a first down on 2nd & 5 inside Jets territory.
In stat news, both Jags WRs have surpassed 100 yards receiving.
WR Dede Westbrook just surpassed 100 receiving yards for the first time in his NFL career.@DedeTHEGreat11 has 7 catches for 103 yards, and joins Donte Moncrief (@drm_12) as @Jaguars WRs with 100+ receiving yards today.

3:50 PM: Both teams exchange punts and the Jaguars are now in possession trying to run more clock down and finish this off with 7:40 left in the game. Jags still up 25-12.
3:41 PM: The Jaguars finally allow a red zone touchdown, as Darnold hits the tight end Leggett for a 3 yard scoring pass. They miss the two point conversion. Jags lead is cut to 25-12. Run some clock and let’s get this wrapped up.
3:35 PM: Yeldon fumbles on the first play of the next drive and the Jets return it inside the 10 yard line of the Jags. Things getting a little sloppy for the Jaguars since the Moncrief touchdown.
3:32 PM: The Jets drive the field thanks to a big catch and run from Quincy Enuniwa along with multiple missed tackles by the Jags. Ramsey drops a sure pick in the end zone and the Jags defense keeps the Jets out again, leading to a Myers field goal. Jaguars 25 Jets 6.
3:24 PM: End of the 3rd quarter. The Jets offense is back on the field, as we grind out these last 15 minutes of football, with the Jaguars poised to end the first quarter of the season with a 3-1 record for the first time since 2007.
3:18 PM: The Jaguars defense forces yet another three and out, including a sack by Barry Church. The Jags offense are back on the field and in full control. Meanwhile, here is the aforementioned TD.

3:14 PM: TOUCHDOWN! Blake Bortles hits Donte Moncrief for a 67 yard bomb down the right sideline. Best pass by Blake since the Cole touchdown in Week 2, imo. Jaguars now lead 25-3 with 3:40 left in the 3rd quarter. It’s foot to throat time!
3:09 PM: The defense holds, as it has done all season thus far in the red zone, and former Jag Jason Myers makes it 18-3 Jaguars. AJ Bouye dropped a would be pick six in his chest on the drive.
3:01 PM: Bortles’ perfect day is ruined, as yet another tipped pass is picked off by a Jets defender. The Jets take over inside the Jags 30.
2:55 PM: Jags defense forces another three & out. They have been absolutely phenomenal today.
2:52 PM: The offense stalls after an illegal shift penalty wipes out another big gainer on 3rd down from Bortles to Westbrook. Jags punt and are flagged for catch interference as DJ Chark hits the return man early. Jets take over. The Jags also lose another player on offense as ASJ heads to the injury tent.
2:42 PM: Following a Jags punt to open the second half that is downed on the 1 yard line, Campbell and Dareus team up to stuff Crowell in the end zone for a safety! The Jaguars now have a three-possession lead and get the ball. Jaguars 18 Jets 0.
2:36 PM: We start the second half, and get bad news on the injury front.
INJURY UPDATE:@Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette (hamstring) and center Brandon Linder (back) have both been downgraded to OUT and will not return.
— Tad Dickman (@TDickman89) September 30, 2018
2:32 PM: The final play of the half gets Yan his much awaited first sack of the year, with help from the first round pick..
Yannick Ngakoue gets his first sack of the season and Taven Bryan is COUNTRY STRONG, y’all.

2:21 PM: Halftime. Darnold tries driving the team before time expires but a great break up by Jalen Ramsey, and a sack by Yannick Ngakoue gets the teams into the locker rooms.
2:18 PM: The Jaguars are able to move the ball into Jets territory thanks again to Dede Westbrook and Bortles. The drive stalls, but Lambo nails it from 54 yards, and the Jags lead extends to 16-0, with :29 left in the half.
2:13 PM: The Jaguars take over on downs, as the Jets fails to convert on 3rd and 4th &1 getting lucky both times with dropped passes from Bilal Powell and another Jets WR. They now try to run the 1 minute drill before half.
2:05 PM: Folks,,,,
Bortles is 15 of 16 for 192 yards and a touchdown. #Jaguars
— John Reid (@JohnReid64) September 30, 2018
2:00 PM: TOUCHDOWN! Bortles checks down to TJ Yeldon, who takes it 27 yards for the first Jaguars touchdown since New England in Week 2. Blake has been absolutely on fire today, in a game where he’s needed to be with Fournette seemingly out again and the running game for the most part being non-productive. Jaguars lead 13-0 with 1:40 left in the first half.
1:53 PM: Good news.
So much for Fournette being questionable. Back out for this drive. Gamesmanship, indeed. #Jaguars
— Eugene Frenette (@GeneFrenette) September 30, 2018
1:50 PM: Jaguars defense holds once again, and they get a sack on the rookie thanks to a hell of a stunt by Malik Jackson. Jags will take over at their 20, without Linder and Fournette.
1:48 PM: Well, that didn’t take long..
INJURY UPDATE:@Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette has hamstring tightness and is QUESTIONABLE to return.
— Tad Dickman (@TDickman89) September 30, 2018
1:41 PM: The Jaguars second offensive drive of the game is a replica of the first, as the team drives deep into the Jets territory, only to come up a yard short on 3rd & 6 and settle for another Lambo field goal. The highligh of the drive, a Bortles to Westbrook pass that Dede took for more than 20 yards, similar to the Patriots play he scored on from 64 yards out. Jaguars extend the lead to 6-0.
1:30 PM: As the first quarter closes, one of the highlights from the opening drive, Blake doing what he does best..
During the commercial let’s all watch Blake Bortles’ run for 23 yards on that first drive.

1:26 PM: The Jags force a three and out on the ensuing possession with solid play from Telvin Smith among others. On the injury front, however, not so great news for an already beat up offensive line..
INJURY UPDATE:@Jaguars center Brandon Linder has a back injury and is QUESTIONABLE to return.
— Tad Dickman (@TDickman89) September 30, 2018
1:21 PM: The offense opens their day with a nice, “Good Blake” drive that originated at their 1 yard line, and gets into the red zone before a holding on Parnell and a sack on 3rd down given up by Norwell, stalls the drive. Josh Lambo is true with the field goal attempt, and the Jaguars lead 3-0.
1:09 PM: The Jaguars defense gets the Jets off the field and takeover at their 1 yard line following the punt. Good pressure by the Jags front four to throw off the young quarterback.
1:02 PM: The Jaguars won the toss and deferred, Jets and rookie QB Sam Darnold will start first.
1:00 PM: We are set for kick off, but before we do, I think this all gets remedied today.
A quick note on the Jaguars offense before kickoff: They haven't scored an offensive touchdown in 67:35 (dating back to 4Q against New England) and are still searching for their first first rushing touchdown of the season. https://t.co/9lbKfLOYpt

12:43 PM: Leonard Fournette and A.J. Cann are active and will play today. Big, big news for a team needing to establish the run to help Blake Bortles get cookin’.
