Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across the NFL powered by SurveyMonkey. Each week, we send 32 polls to 100+ plugged in fans from each team. Jaguars fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
Will the Jaguars win or lose in Week 1?
Jaguars fans think they will beat the Giants by 10. I tend to lean that way too, especially if the Jaguars offense is turnover free. The Jaguars are currently only a three point favorite on the road, so that means if it were at TIAA Bank Field it would probably be around a touchdown favorite.
How confident are you in the direction of the team?

Very confident: 81 percent
Somewhat confident: 18 percent
Meh: 1 percent
Not very confident: 0 percent
Not confident at all: 0 percent
These results shouldn’t be too surprising. Why should Jaguars fans feel any different? The team is coming off the doorstep of the Super Bowl and during the preseason, despite some struggles in the passing game, their first team units “won” against whoever it was they were playing against. Right now, there is no reason to not feel really good about where the Jaguars are at, especially heading into Week 1.
What is the worst NFL rule?

I’d expect the results for the worst rule to be down going forward, as I think this was a reaction to the NFL being super aggressive calling the helmet rule. We didn’t really see it in the first Thursday Night game between the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles and I don’t expect to see a lot of it going forward.
