The Jacksonville Jaguars Jalen Ramsey saga has dragged on for a few weeks, with the star cornerback missing the past two games with a back injury and seeing a specialist in Houston on Monday afternoon. Ramsey returned to practice with the Jaguars in a limited capacity on Wednesday and was limited again on Thursday, which would make his prognosis for playing against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday pretty good.

It would actually make them real good, considering the latest comments from Jaguars owner Shad Khan, who revealed he recently had a heart-to-heart meeting with the disgruntled player.

“Well, I think [Jalen Ramsey] is going to be playing this week, and hopefully you’ll tune into the Saints game, but I think that...you gotta balance what’s good for the team and what the individual wishes may be,” Khan told Katherine Ross of The Street. “I met with [Ramsey] a couple of days ago, had a heart-to-heart and I think we’ll be able to come to whatever makes sense for all.”

After the team’s Week 2 loss to the Houston Texans where Ramsey had a sideline altercation with head coach Doug Marrone after the coach declined to make a challenge on an incomplete pass, which led to an impromptu meeting with Tom Coughlin where Ramsey claimed some disrespectful things were said. Afterwards Ramsey told his agent to ask for a trade, the news leaked and the rest is history.
