New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is officially questionable on the team’s injury report leading up to their Week 6 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
According to Luke Johnson of NOLA.com, head coach Sean Payton declined to comment on if the injury was sustained during practice or not.
“I’m not going to discuss anything relative to that,” Payton said when asked if Kamara sustained the injury during practice.
The only game Kamara has missed was Week 17 of last season when the Saints rested several starters in preparation for the playoffs.
If Kamara can’t go, it will be up to backup running back Latavius Murray to carry the load — but Murray was also absent from practice on Friday. That absence was described as “personal” and not injury related.
