Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone made his first public appearance since Jalen Ramsey was traded to the Los Angeles Rams last night and (surprise! surprise!) he was asked a lot about Jalen Ramsey.
One question that stuck out from the beginning was if he respected the way Ramsey handled his business over the last few weeks. Marrone explained it this way:
“I respect everyone that’s in that locker room and the way they handle a lot of things. It’s difficult, especially when the player is injured and doing everything they can to get back. I have no issues.”

Reporters continued to ask Marrone questions that, frankly, the front office should be answering and you could tell he was getting frustrated. Marrone just doesn’t know, nor is it his place to speak about it.
Frustrating for Doug Marrone that he has to try to address questions that Dave Caldwell & Tom Coughlin should answer.

Tom Coughlin and Dave Caldwell have done a lot of damage to this locker room in the past six months and their silence is deafening. We’ll see if we get either of them speaking publicly between now and the end of the season.
