The Jacksonville Jaguars are headed north to Ohio to take on the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday, and while the Bengals aren’t a very good team right now, they’ll be without probably their best player in wide receiver A.J. Green.

Now this shouldn’t be much a surprise, as Green has yet to play this season, but there was some hope that this weekend would be when he played his first game.

“I’m just taking my time. I’m not sore. I just have to take my time,” Green told the media, via Yahoo! Sports. “If I can go, I can go. If I can’t, I can’t. It’s no big thing. Like I said from day one, if I’m healthy enough to play then I’m going to play. Right now, I still have a little way to go.”

Many were anticipating the re-match between Green and Jalen Ramsey, after the last time they met both were ejected from the game, but that now won’t happen. Tre Herndon, but a struggling Bengals offense will still be without Green.

Green hurt his ankle in training camp, had surgery and has yet to play this season. In his absence the Bengals offense has struggled and are so far win-less on the season.
