The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently opening as 1-point favorites against the New Orleans Saints, which is a bit surprising to me. I thought they’d be underdogs given their disappointing run defense as of late and the fact that Alvin Kamara can make any defender look silly. I suppose it has to do with Gardner Minshew’s improved play and the fact that our defense has traditionally responded to embarrassment with flat out ass whoopin’ the opponent the next week, but Teddy Bridgewater and the Saints offense isn’t bad.
This is all according to Bet Online, who also has the over/under set at 44.5 points.
In short, it’ll be a fun game that any team could win which is why you should not be betting the line — this will end somewhere in the vicinity of 24-21 and truly either team could take it. Do not put money on the line. Please. For the love God do not do it.
tl;dr — The Jaguars are favored against the Saints but I’m staying away from the line and taking the over, praying that Minshew continues to Minshew.
