The Jacksonville Jaguars (4-6) are one loss away from the Wild Card playoff race. The Tennessee Titans (5-5) are seeing a resurgence with Ryan Tannehill as their quarterback mixed with a smash mouth, control-the-clock run game.
CAN’T WAIT FOR SUNDAY.
On paper, it’s gonna be a close game. The Jaguars are just three-point underdogs and the over/under is 41.5 points, but I doubt we get something along the lines of a 21-20 game the oddsmakers are predicting. I think this is another blowout. But are there still players worth grabbing on the Jaguars?
Here are my predictions:
RB Leonard Fournette
Even with an awful offensive showing last week, Fournette was still able to garner okay numbers in standard formats thanks to a seven-reception performance. If you’re playing in PPR leagues, he’s still a good get. And hey, maybe he’ll score a touchdown?
*cries*
Fantasy projection: 110 total yards, 5 receptions, 1 touchdown
WR DJ Chark
I’m done galaxy braining this with the receivers. Chark is having a Pro Bowl-caliber season and he’s the only one worth picking up among the receivers here. Again, even in poor offensive showings, Chark can rack up points. He had both of the team’s two touchdowns last week and if the Jaguars are in the red zone, I think the team will be looking his way.
Fantasy projection: 7 receptions, 95 yards, 1 touchdown
QB Nick Foles
He wasn’t good last week, but the Jaguars want to give him a ton of volume, so he’ll rack up yards and touchdowns. He won’t get you the points on the ground with scrambles, but if he throws 40 or more attempts, he’s bound to get some production against a Titans pass defense that is below average right now.
Fantasy projection: 310 passing yards, 10 rushing yards, 2 touchdowns
