The Jacksonville Jaguars have a new franchise record-holder when it comes to field goals made during a single season.
Mike Hollis had held the record with two 31 field goals in the 1997 and 1999 NFL seasons. But with his second field goal today and 32nd for the season, Josh Lambo has moved into the driver’s seat.

As far as he’s doing this season, he’s currently 32-for-33 on the year for a 97.0 field goal percentage. That’s the highest in the NFL among kickers with at least 10 attempts.
For his career with the Jaguars, he’s 70-for-74 for a 95.0 field goal percentage. That’s also highest in franchise history.
In a season of disappointments, it’s good to see a few bright spots — of which Lambo certainly was one.
