New York Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said Wednesday he expects Eli Manning to be the quarterback for 2019.
”I think Eli Manning can help us win games,” Shurmur said. “I want Eli back. I expect him to be back this year.”

Last season, Manning threw for 4,299 yards with 21 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The Giants went 5–11.
If Manning is indeed the quarterback for the Giants next season that would all but take them out of the running for a first round quarterback and leave one less team for the Jacksonville Jaguars to compete for Dwayne Haskins.
