While the Jacksonville Jaguars have finalized their coaching staff for the 2019 season, it seems they could still bring some people on in the role of advisers. According to Alex Marvez, one person the Jaguars are interested in bringing in is long time defensive coordinator Dom Capers.
Source tells me Dom Capers has declined the chance to become @Bengals defensive coordinator. Possible destinations are @MiamiDolphins (more likely) & @Jaguars as a senior defensive adviser

Most recently Capers was the defensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers for nine seasons, moving on after the 2017 season. He has been a long time coordinator, a head coach a few times, and has even worked for the Jaguars previously under Tom Coughlin as the defensive coordinator.
I’d be inclined to think Capers ends up with a defensive coordinator job if he’s still up for coaching at 68, however adding him as a consultant/adviser role for the defensive side of the ball would be an interesting proposition. He has a wealth of knowledge and different schemes, so it could be someone Todd Wash could bounce ideas off of.
