Texans will be signing former Jaguars' safety Tashaun Gipson, per @diannaESPN— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 12, 2019
Gipson, 28, was a good player on the Jaguars defense since he was signed as a free agent in 2016 and some would argue has played at close to a Pro Bowl level. But the Jaguars are going to be moving on from some players to clear cap space and after the team re-signed Jarrod Wilson some thought that Gipson could be on the chopping block.
The Jaguars couldn’t find a suitable trade partner so he tested the waters in free agency and found an interested team quickly.
Best of luck, Tashaun.
