We’re less than 48 hours removed from the NFL Draft, so you know what that means — it’s 2020 mock draft time!
The Jacksonville Jaguars are predicted to be a mid-tier team next year, earning between seven and nine wins, and narrowly missing the postseason. So what does that mean for their 2020 plans? According to MockingTheDraft.com’s Dan Kadar, it means adding more offensive firepower in the first round.
15. Jacksonville Jaguars: Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama
That’s right, two Alabama wide receivers inside the top 15. Ruggs is a speed receiver and the 1b to Jeudy’s 1a. Last season Ruggs averaged 16.1 yards per catch and had 11 touchdowns.
Ruggs is fast, folks. And he’d be a great complement to Dede Westbrook and DJ Chark who have (hopefully) developed into legitimate receiving threats this season.
What do you think? Would you like to see a wide receiver in the first round next season? Or do you foresee something else happening? Let us know in the comments below!
