Leonard Fournette: ‘I support Telvin [Smith] 100 percent’

The Jacksonville Jaguars got a bit of a shock yesterday when veteran linebacker Telvin Smith abruptly announced his retirement on Instagram, citing his health, family, and more. There has been some backlash — from fans and local media alike — but the overall response seems to fall in line with what running back Leonard Fournette tweeted late last night.

“I support telvin 100% it’s a lot of things us players go through even tho football is our jobs, some outside situations affect our games, he’ll be fine love always brother....”

Fournette’s response is the correct response and if you feel differently you should just keep those tweets in the drafts, folks.
