How confident are you in the direction of the team?

These results shouldn’t be too surprising — at the end of the season, the Jaguars were a disappointing 5-11, they had no quarterback of the future, and the offensive line was all but decimated. Now with Nick Foles, a stronger emphasis on the run game, an elite pass rusher falling to us at the top of the first round, and a host of new tight ends and wide receivers, the future looks brighter.
We’ve gone from nearly zero fans having confidence in this team to almost 75 percent of the fan base having some hope in this team. That’s a big jump.
When OTA practices open this month and training camp later this summer, we might see that number go up and down and I think it rests on the shoulder of one man’s performance — Foles. If he and newly hired offensive coordinator John DeFilippo can do something to extend drives, score points, and take even just a little bit of the burden off the defense, it should go a long way towards instilling even more confidence in this fanbase.
