A.J. Bouye likes practicing against good quarterbacks, as opposed to what the Jaguars had before

Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback A.J. Bouye has noticed a difference in this year’s offseason practices and he put it squarely on the quarterback.

When talking about practicing pass defense, Bouye said it’s easier to make the play on a ball thrown by a bad quarterback compared to one who is not bad.

Science.

No one has said anything publicly, but I can imagine there are many players on this team — especially on the defense — happy that the team upgraded at quarterback over the offseason. I’m just sad it took us five years of Blake Bortles to get to this point.
