Earlier in the day, the team announced the signings of third-round pick Josh Oliver, sixth- round pick Gardner Minshew, and seventh-round pick Dontavius Russell.
The team also announced the release of several players on Thursday evening, including quarterback Cody Kessler, linebackers Blair Brown and Donald Payne (Failed physical designation), fullback D’mitri Flowers, and offensive lineman Parker Ehinger.
