The Jacksonville Jaguars begin their three-day mandatory mini camp this morning after 10 voluntary days of OTAs.

While there are some things we’ll be looking forJosh Allen’s fit with all the defenders, Nick Foles throwing against something more competitive than air, and the offensive line gelling — the most noteworthy thing about the next three days is Yannick Ngakoue’s absence because of a contract dispute.

What’s standing out from Day 1 of mandatory mini camp? Follow along with everything Jaguars by checking out our live blog throughout the day.

4:25 PM: I am so ready to have a pair of bookend tackles again, Jaguars.

4:21 PM: Eugene,,, thank u,,,

12:33 PM: My man.

12:01 PM: Oh no.

10:55 AM: Giving Jalen Ramsey a contract extension as quickly as possible seems like a no brainer so of course the Jaguars aren’t going to do it.

10:49 AM: The return of the king. Jalen Ramsey explains why he stayed home during voluntary workouts, but honestly — the only thing you need to know is that the workouts were voluntary.

10:38 AM: This isn’t the best thing to read when it’s the first day of the secondary at full strength and it’s a live practice with pads.

10:34 AM: We’ve talked about this a lot, but I think tight ends are going to be a huge part of the Jaguars offense as long as Nick Foles is the quarterback. It suits his style and strengths, as well as the preference of newly hired offensive coordinator John DeFilippo.

10:18 AM: Looks like the radio silence is over for the media and Day 1 of practice. Doug Marrone speaks about Yannick Ngakoue’s absence:

“I discussed it with Yann, and obviously he wants to resolve his contract issues. … Everyone knows the situation. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out. He’s trying to get a contract...”

9:23 AM: The offense typically has the upper hand when it comes to the first few practices together. It takes days (or even weeks) to be able to get back where you’re able to read and react.

9:11 AM: I agree. They should retire the No. 5 jersey. No future player should be subjected to the humiliation of that cursed number.

9:06 AM: Folks,,, the players have pads. Let’s get wild.

8:56 AM: Andrew Norwell back at practice is encouraging. He seems to be recovering well from the ankle injury he suffered.

8:30 AM: Here’s the quote from Doug Marrone.

8:25 AM: ICYMI: Doug Marrone deflected to Dave Caldwell and Tom Coughlin when it came to questions about Yannick Ngakoue’s contract. Coincidentally, Caldwell and Coughlin are not being made available for comment.

8:23 AM: Let’s see if any of these undrafted guys stand out. There’s more than one wide receiver on this list and the team went hard at wide receiver with their undrafted free agent signings.
