The Jacksonville Jaguars were high on Josh Allen. We were high on Josh Allen. Any fan you talked with was high on Josh Allen.
And apparently, Allen is getting some Madden love as well.
EA Sports released player ratings for all rookies today, giving Allen a 77 overall — good for fourth highest among this year’s rookie class.

A few observations...
I’d like to see Josh Allen a bit higher than where he is. I think between 78-82 is where a top draft pick should be — lest we forget Taven Bryan received a 78 overall at this time last year. That said, his speed is off the charts for a defensive end and I’d be surprised if he wasn’t an 80 overall with midseason updates.
I also thought Ryquell Armstead was more of a bruiser but Madden has him as fast fast. I hadn’t looked it up until now, but Armstead ran a 4.45 40-yard dash — between Saquon Barkley’s 4.40 and Ezekiel Elliott’s 4.47. Fair enough.
Quincy Williams is gonna be faster than most tight ends and as fast as some wide receivers, isn’t he?
And finally, Jawaan Taylor at 71 overall feels a bit low. After all, he was viewed as a top-five talent by some teams.
